Synchronica Wins Five Mobile Star Awards in 2009
In December 2009, Synchronica's Mobile Gateway and Mobile Backup were awarded three Superstars and two Shining Stars by MobileVillage - the best result ever for the company.

Synchronica Nominated for Telecoms World Awards Middle East
In October 2009, Synchronica Mobile Gateway was selected as a finalist for the Telecoms World Awards Middle East. The awards recognize outstanding performance in eleven key areas in the region's telecommunications industry. Mobile Gateway has been nominated in the category Best Technological Innovation. The award ceremony will take place on 17 November 2009 in Dubai.
Synchronica Succeded in ACQ Global Awards 2009
In March 2009, Synchronica was awarded Financial Technology Business of the Year by ACQ Finance magazine. The award was given to Synchronica for the impact of its mobile email solution Mobile Gateway in the financial sector.
ACQ spokesman Jason Wynn: "We gave the categories to our in-house panel and industry peers that have contributed to the magazine in past editions. They voted on those deals and subjects that the magazine has reported on and who they think stood out from the crowd in the last twelve months."
Mobile Gateway Shortlisted for Mobile Messaging Awards 2009
In June 2009, Synchronica Mobile Gateway has been shortlisted for the sixth annual global Mobile Messaging Awards. The award recognizes innovation in the world of mobile messaging and honors the important role that mobile messaging technology plays today.
Synchronica's outstanding contributions in the mobile industry have qualified for the category Messaging Application, Consumer. The award ceremony will take place at Global Messaging 2009 in London on 23 June 2009.
The most important mobile data event in the conference calendar will attract speakers and delegates from over 30 countries, from Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Oceania.

In April 2009, Synchronica CEO Carsten Brinkschulte was shortlisted for the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Awards 2009. The awards are organized annually by M&A Magazine, one of the leading business publications in the U.K. Recognition is given to top management dealmakers who have demonstrated shrewd acquisition and negotiating skills.
In the category Deal / Dealmaker of the Year, Carsten Brinkschulte was nominated for his outstanding skills in dealmaking for Synchronica's 2008 acquisition of AxisMobile, then a competitor of Synchronica in the emerging market of consumer mobile email.

Synchronica Wins European Seal of e-Excellence 2009
In March 2009, Synchronica was awarded the Silver Seal of e-Excellence at the CeBIT fair in Hannover, Germany, for the third consecutive year. The European Seal of e-Excellence rewards ICT and Digital Media companies with an excellent track record in innovative marketing.
Awarded annually since 2003 by the European Multimedia Forum (EMF) and its partner associations to promote the competitiveness of the converging digital media industries in the global market place, the prestigious seal is widely known for recognizing companies that develop innovative products that are promoted with outstanding marketing strategies.
Margarete Mazura, EMF Secretary-General, said: "The selected companies are distinguished with the European Seal of e-Excellence first and foremost because of their marketing focus and because they, as a consequence, are natural job creators."

Synchronica Wins Five Mobile Star Awards in 2008
In August 2008, Synchronica Mobile Gateway and Mobile Backup were awarded Silver Stars for data backup and email in the category Consumer Software, for middleware in the category Enterprise Software, and for application delivery in the category Operator Software.
In recognition of developing innovative consumer software products, Synchronica CEO Carsten Brinkschulte was voted as a visionary in the category Enterprise Mobile Software and rewarded with the Bright Star.
Best in Mobile Solution of Network Products Guide Reader Trust
In August 2008, Synchronica Mobile Gateway was elected as the best mobile solution 2008 in the Network Products Guide Reader Trust. Network Products Guide is a Silicon Valley Communications publication and a world leading publication on technologies and solutions. The respected annual award honors products and services that represent the rapidly changing needs and interests of the end-users of technology worldwide.

European Silver Seal of e-Excellence Award
In March 2008, the European Silver Seal of e-Excellence was given to Synchronica by the European Multimedia Forum (EMF) at the CeBIT fair in Hannover. Synchronica won the prize in the category Software Suppliers for its successful communication strategy to make mobile email attractive to the mass market. It was the second time that Synchronica has received the award.
This year, the jury honored Synchronica's Mobile Gateway and Mobile Backup that are based on the dominant open industry standards Push IMAP (LEMONADE) and SyncML (OMA DS). By developing products that support these open standards, Synchronica enables mobile email, contact and calendar synchronization, and backup and restore services on the widest range of mobile devices in use worldwide. This allows the company to make mobile email services more accessible and attractive to the mass market.

Synchronica Products Win Mobile Gold Star Awards for Mobile Operator Products and Awards in Four Other Categories of MobileVillage Awards
In October 2007, Synchronica Mobile Gateway and Mobile Manager were awarded Gold Stars for over-the-air (OTA) synchronization and device management by MobileVillage. For mobile backup and recovery, Synchronica Mobile Manager was awarded a Silver Star.
In recognition of his championing of open mobile industry standards, Synchronica CEO Carsten Brinkschulte was voted as a visionary in the category Enterprise Mobile Software.
"We are delighted that both of Synchronica's products have been awarded a Gold Star by MobileVillage, as this endorses our strategy of supporting standards that bring these high-end services to low-cost phones", said Brinkschulte.
eco Internet Award
In June 2007, Synchronica received the eco Internet Award in Cologne. Also referred to by people in the industry as the Internet Oscar, the award is given out by the association of German internet enterprises every year.
An independent jury made up of top executives of the ITC industry, ITC associations and members of the press was spoiled for choice in choosing the winners of the 13 categories from 200 applicants. Synchronica, with its Mobile Gateway, prevailed in the category Mobile Service.
"We are very proud of the award because it shows that we are at the vanguard of technology in the domain of mobile data synchronization software", said Carsten Brinkschulte, Synchronica's CEO.

Innovation Award of the Information and Telecommunication Industry
In May 2007, Synchronica was awarded the Innovation Award of the Information and Telecommunication Industry of the German Initiative Mittelstand (Initiative Medium-sized Companies). An independent jury of experts and technical industry editors awards the prize to companies offering innovative products, services, and solutions with a high benefit for medium-sized businesses.
Synchronica received the Innovation Award ITK for its push email and synchronization solution Mobile Gateway. Using established industry standards, such as SyncML and Push IMAP, Mobile Gateway allows push email and data synchronization with most of the devices of leading manufacturers like Sony Ericsson, Nokia, or Motorola.
"We are very glad to belong to the companies which received a prize and to have been selected from so many candidates. Being appreciated by an initiative for medium-sized businesses especially proves that we are right to develop simple and cost-effective solutions also for smaller companies which have to use all the modern communication devices like the big companies, too", said Nicole Meissner, Chief Marketing Officer of Synchronica, when making a statement on the award.

Silver European Multimedia Award
In March 2007, this award was given by Europe's leading multimedia associations at the CeBIT fair in Hannover in the category Software Suppliers to honor Synchronica's efforts to make mobile email attractive to the mass market.
For example thanks to the push email and synchronization solution Mobile Gateway or the mobile device management suite Mobile Manager, which enables service providers themselves to offer backup and restore services for mobile phones.
"Our award winners are successful companies that have realized how important it is to produce for the market", said Philippe Wacker, Secretary General of the European Multimedia Forum, an umbrella organization of multimedia associations.

Gold MarCom Creative Award
In December 2006, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) awarded the coveted trophy to Synchronica in recognition of the successful marketing campaign for its Mobile Manager.
The award was given to the British-German company in the television category for its screaming mobile phone campaign. The scream is a new theft protection feature in Mobile Manager.
"We are very happy to receive the award. It confirms that our marketing and PR campaigns for Mobile Manager, Synchronica's software for mobile end device management, have gained the desired attention in the market", emphasizes Nicole Meissner, Chief Marketing Officer of Synchronica plc.
Two Gold and Two Silver Mobile Star Awards
In November 2006, Synchronica's SyncML Gateway has been ranked as a Gold Star product by MobileVillage in both the mobile email category and the enterprise middleware category.
In the mobile device management category, Synchronica's Mobile Manager was voted as a silver star product. Synchronica's CEO Carsten Brinkschulte has also been voted to receive the Gold Mobile Star award for his role as a visionary in the enterprise mobile software space.

"It is particularly gratifying to know that our products have been chosen by readers of Go Mobile, who are active users of mobile technology and knowledgeable about the range products available to them for their mobile email and device management requirements."
Best of CeBIT Award
In March 2006, Synchronica has won the Best of CeBIT Award in the mobile solutions category for the SyncML Gateway. At the fair in Hannover, the magazine TeleTalk annually awards exhibitors whose products best meet the criteria of innovation and market potential.
"Synchronica's SyncML Gateway convinced the jury with its broad field of application. The email push functionality for employees on the road - from Board members to the sales force - is its most desired feature.
