Device Management Forum Announces Members at 3GSM

3GSM, Barcelona, Stand 2.1C17, Hall 2.1, February 7, 2007. - Following on from its recent successful launch, the Device Management Forum (DMF) is pleased to announce three core members to its organization, Nokia, Mossec and Synchronica. The industry coalition will be demonstrating their unified support for device management and security, push email / PIM synchronization and application management on the DMF stand at 3GSM Barcelona.

The DMF is the brainchild of former Ovum and Gartner analyst Abraham Joseph, a recognized industry expert in mobile device management and over-the-air (OTA) technologies. Commenting on the Forum, Joseph said: "The DMF is an industry group that brings together major stakeholders in the development, distribution, management and use of information, communication and entertainment devices and the services that run on them. In contrast with many forums and organizations, the DMF has much more of a marketing focus. Among its key objectives, are creating awareness of key device management issues, promoting best practices and helping match vendors of solutions/services with those that need them."
