Synchronica Wins eco Award for Mobile Gateway

Cologne, June 19, 2007. - The association of German internet enterprises (eco) gave the 2007 eco Internet Award in the category Mobile Service to Synchronica, recognizing the company as a successful enterprise of its industry that stands out by exceptionally innovative and remarkable achievements.

All in all, more than 200 enterprises had applied for the eco Awards. An independent jury made up of top executives of the ITC industry, ITC associations and members of the press chose the award-winners of 13 categories in the domains of ASP Online Services, ISP, Hosting Providers, Web Portals, and Mobile Service.

Helmut Weissenbach of Synchronica's German PR agency accepted the award on behalf of Synchronica in the course of the 2007 eco gala held in Cologne.

The jury emphasized that Synchronica was making an important contribution to the success of German internet businesses thanks to the company's forward looking product Mobile Gateway. Mobile Gateway is mainly developed at Synchronica's development center in Berlin.

"We are very proud of the award because it shows that we are at the vanguard of technology in the domain of mobile data synchronization software", said Carsten Brinkschulte, Synchronica's CEO.

The history of the eco award goes back to the former ASP consortium, which gave out an award for ASP and Online Services as early as in 1999. In the years that followed the award evolved into a coveted prize.
