Synchronica Moved On to the Next Round of the Mobile Innovation Global Award Competition

Atlanta, Royal Tunbridge Wells, May 7, 2008. - Synchronica plc, international provider of mobile email and synchronization solutions, moved on to the next round of the Mobile Innovation Global Award Competition, Americas Tournament. On 21 May, the top 15 innovators will be announced, and they will present their innovative ideas at the GSMA Mobile Innovation Marketplace in Atlanta on 3-4 June 2008.

One semi-finalist will be named in each of the five categories:

• Most Innovative 'True Mobile Start Up'
• Most Innovative Carrier Infrastructure or Platform
• Most Innovative Consumer Application or Service
• Most Innovative Mobile Application in a Vertical Market
• Most Innovative Wireless Device-centric Technology

From the five semi-finalists two will be chosen to be the Mobile Innovation Global Finalists and move on to the next round of the competition at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2009. There, they will compete against four other Mobile Innovation Global Finalists selected from the Marketplace Events in Macau, China, in November 2008 and in Barcelona, Spain, in February 2009.

The winner will be awarded the title of GSMA Mobile Innovation Global Champion.
